November 2025 News
Verse of the Month
“Ask, and you will be given what you ask for. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened. For everyone who asks, receives. Anyone who seeks, finds. If only you will knock, the door will open.” Matthew 7:7-8 (TLB)

PEN PAL PALOOZA — Celebrating 10 Years of Connection and Hope
Cards For Prisoners, a program of Tangible Hope Ministries, began in October 2016—and what an incredible journey it’s been! One of our very first projects was to send holiday greetings to everyone on our pen pal list. There were just 52 names back then, and with the help of my husband and kids, we wrote, addressed, stamped, and mailed every single card.
Fast forward nine years, and we’re preparing for our 10th annual PENPALPALOOZA on November 11th at Mars Hill Bible Church! Thanks to the dedication of our amazing volunteers, we now send out more than 1,800 cards and holiday letters to men and women incarcerated across the United States.
Each year, we ask—and you show up! Your willingness to share love and encouragement with those often forgotten by society is truly the heartbeat of this ministry.
Please join us again this year for a time of card writing, meaningful stories from returned citizens about what your cards meant to them, and even a few fun prizes!
With a thankful heart,
Paula Creswell
